Subscription Terms
How ZinCut plans, credits, top-ups, and billing changes work, in plain language.
Last updated: September 13, 2026
These Subscription Terms explain how ZinCut paid plans, billing, credits, upgrades, downgrades, billing-interval changes, cancellations, and payments work.
These Subscription Terms form part of ZinCut's Terms of Use.
If there is a conflict between these Subscription Terms and the Terms of Use concerning subscriptions, payments, credits, upgrades, downgrades, cancellations, or refunds, these Subscription Terms control those specific matters.
Nothing in these Subscription Terms limits rights or protections that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.
1. Paid Plans
ZinCut currently offers four paid subscription plans:
- Starter
- Pro
- Max
- Business
Each paid plan may be available with:
- Monthly billing; or
- Yearly billing.
Plan prices, included credits, features, and other benefits are displayed on the ZinCut pricing page at the time of purchase.
ZinCut may change plans, prices, features, or included benefits in accordance with these Terms and applicable law.
2. Monthly and Yearly Billing
Monthly subscriptions are billed once per month.
Yearly subscriptions are charged as one upfront payment for the selected year.
Although a yearly subscription is paid upfront, its included subscription credits are provided monthly rather than as one annual lump sum.
For example, a yearly plan with a monthly allowance of 3,000 credits provides the applicable monthly allowance during each subscription month rather than providing the entire year's credits at the beginning of the year.
3. Free Plan
ZinCut also provides a Free plan.
The Free plan does not require a paid subscription.
The current Free plan provides 150 welcome credits once when you create your account, plus 10 credits per day.
Free credits are promotional service credits and may be changed, limited, suspended, or discontinued subject to applicable law.
Daily Free-plan credits build up during your current 30-day free period. Unused Free-plan credits, including unused welcome credits, expire at the end of that period and do not accumulate indefinitely.
4. Payment Methods
For web purchases:
- Customers in Indonesia are billed in Indonesian Rupiah (IDR) through Midtrans.
- Customers outside Indonesia are billed in United States Dollars (USD) through PayPal.
For subscription payments in Indonesia, Midtrans may support card-based subscription payments according to the payment methods available for the applicable transaction.
One-time credit top-ups may support additional payment methods depending on the customer's location and the payment methods available at checkout.
Purchases made through Apple App Store or Google Play are processed according to the applicable platform's payment system and terms.
5. Taxes and Additional Charges
Displayed prices may be subject to applicable taxes, payment-provider charges, currency conversion costs, or other charges required by law or imposed by the applicable payment provider.
Where applicable, taxes may be included in or added to the displayed price.
The amount charged may therefore differ from the displayed base price where taxes or legally required charges apply.
6. Automatic Renewal
Paid subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before the renewal date.
For monthly subscriptions, the subscription renews monthly.
For yearly subscriptions, the subscription renews yearly.
Your applicable payment provider may notify you of the upcoming renewal according to its own requirements.
By purchasing a subscription, you authorize the applicable payment provider to charge the payment method associated with your subscription for future renewals unless you cancel.
7. Subscription Credits
Each paid plan includes a specified credit allowance.
Subscription credits are provided when the subscription starts and refresh at the beginning of each applicable subscription billing cycle.
Yearly subscriptions still receive credits monthly.
Unused subscription credits do not roll over from one subscription cycle to the next.
When a new subscription cycle begins, the subscription-credit balance is reset to the new cycle's included allowance rather than adding the new allowance to unused credits from the previous cycle.
8. How Credits Are Used
ZinCut may require credits for certain image, video, editing, enhancement, generation, or other operations.
The number of credits required may vary by feature.
When you use a paid feature, ZinCut uses available subscription credits first.
Once the applicable subscription-credit balance has been exhausted, ZinCut uses eligible top-up credits.
Credit requirements may change when features, models, providers, or processing costs change.
The credit requirement displayed by ZinCut before or during an operation is the applicable requirement for that operation.
9. Failed or Unsuccessful Operations
Credits consumed for an operation are not automatically returned merely because:
- The generated result is not what you expected;
- You dislike the result;
- You decide not to use the result;
- You choose to regenerate;
- The result contains an AI artifact;
- The result does not meet your creative expectations.
This is different from an operation that fails outright and produces no result. If a submitted operation fails to complete, the credits it would have cost are automatically refunded to your account.
This automatic refund applies to operations that fail to complete, not to completed operations whose result you are simply unhappy with, as described above.
10. Top-Up Credits
You may purchase one-time credit top-ups separately from your subscription.
Top-up credits:
- Do not require an active subscription;
- Are separate from subscription credits;
- Remain available between subscription cycles;
- Are used after subscription credits have been exhausted;
- Expire 12 months after purchase if unused;
- Have no cash value;
- Cannot be transferred to another account.
Top-up purchases do not automatically create or renew a subscription.
11. Subscription Credits vs. Top-Up Credits
The two types of credits are treated separately.
Subscription credits:
- Come from your paid plan;
- Refresh each subscription cycle;
- Do not roll over;
- Expire when the applicable subscription cycle ends.
Top-up credits:
- Are purchased separately;
- Carry over between subscription cycles;
- Do not require an active subscription;
- Expire 12 months after purchase.
If you cancel a subscription, eligible top-up credits remain available until their expiration date.
12. Upgrading Your Plan
You may upgrade to a higher plan.
When upgrading to a higher plan on the same billing interval, the upgrade takes effect immediately.
Your current subscription-credit balance is retained.
The new plan's full credit allowance is added immediately according to the applicable upgrade rules.
No additional charge is made at the moment of a same-interval upgrade under the current ZinCut billing model.
The new plan's price applies to the next scheduled renewal.
For example, if you upgrade from Pro Monthly to Max Monthly during an active billing period, you immediately receive the applicable Max benefits and credits, while the Max price applies to the next scheduled billing date.
13. Downgrading Your Plan
A downgrade to a lower plan on the same billing interval does not take effect immediately.
You keep your current plan, price, and applicable benefits until the end of the period already paid for.
The downgrade takes effect automatically at the beginning of the next billing cycle.
The next billing cycle is then charged at the lower plan's price.
You may cancel a scheduled downgrade before it takes effect through Settings → Plan & Billing.
If you cancel a scheduled downgrade, your existing plan remains active.
14. Switching Between Monthly and Yearly Billing
Changing between monthly and yearly billing is treated differently from a same-interval upgrade or downgrade.
A billing-interval change ends the existing subscription and requires a new checkout for the new plan and billing interval.
The unused, already-paid portion of the existing subscription is converted into ZinCut credits according to the applicable conversion calculation used by ZinCut at the time of the change.
Those credits are added to the account before or in connection with the new subscription, subject to the applicable billing process.
You must complete the new checkout to establish the new subscription.
The new subscription begins according to the new checkout and billing schedule.
Because this process involves ending one subscription and creating another, the exact timing of the change may depend on the applicable payment provider.
15. Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription through:
Settings → Plan & Billing
Cancellation stops future automatic renewal.
Cancellation does not normally end your paid access immediately.
Your existing plan, price, and applicable subscription benefits remain available until the end of the period that you have already paid for.
You will not be charged for a new renewal after cancellation.
At the end of the paid period:
- Your account moves to the Free plan;
- Remaining subscription credits expire;
- Your paid plan benefits end;
- Eligible top-up credits remain available until their expiration date.
Cancelling a subscription also cancels any scheduled downgrade that has not yet taken effect.
16. Refunds
Unless applicable law or the rules of the applicable payment platform require otherwise, purchases of subscriptions and credit top-ups are final and non-refundable.
In particular, we generally do not provide refunds because:
- You changed your mind;
- You did not use all included credits;
- Subscription credits expired;
- You disliked generated results;
- You did not use the service;
- You cancelled after a billing period had already begun;
- Credits were consumed through your account;
- You purchased more credits than you needed.
Nothing in this section limits mandatory refund or cancellation rights that apply to you under applicable law.
Purchases made through Apple App Store or Google Play may also be subject to the refund procedures and rules of the applicable platform.
17. Failed Payments
If a subscription renewal payment fails, ZinCut or the applicable payment provider may retry the payment.
We may notify you that your payment has failed and ask you to update your payment method.
During an applicable payment grace period, your access may continue.
If payment remains unsuccessful after the applicable retry or grace period, ZinCut may move your account to the Free plan.
When a paid subscription ends because of failed payment:
- Paid-plan benefits end;
- Remaining subscription credits expire;
- Eligible top-up credits remain available until their expiration date.
ZinCut may restrict access to paid features while a payment remains overdue.
18. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes
If you initiate a chargeback or payment dispute without a valid basis, ZinCut may suspend or restrict your account while the dispute is investigated.
We may provide relevant transaction, account, and usage information to the applicable payment provider where reasonably necessary to respond to a payment dispute or fraud investigation.
If a chargeback is determined to be invalid, ZinCut may seek recovery of the disputed amount and reasonable associated costs to the extent permitted by law.
19. Fraud and Abuse
ZinCut may suspend or terminate an account if we reasonably believe that the account is involved in:
- Payment fraud;
- Unauthorized payment use;
- Chargeback abuse;
- Credit abuse;
- Promotional abuse;
- Account manipulation;
- Attempts to bypass payment requirements;
- Other fraudulent or abusive activity.
Credits obtained through fraudulent or abusive activity may be cancelled.
20. Cancellation or Termination by ZinCut
ZinCut may suspend or terminate subscriptions or accounts where permitted under the Terms of Use, including in circumstances involving:
- Illegal activity;
- Fraud;
- Abuse;
- Copyright or intellectual-property violations;
- Payment abuse;
- Chargebacks;
- Credit manipulation;
- Security threats;
- Circumvention of technical restrictions;
- Serious violations of the Terms of Use.
Where required by applicable law, ZinCut will provide applicable notices or refunds.
21. Changes to Plans and Prices
ZinCut may modify:
- Subscription prices;
- Credit allowances;
- Features;
- Credit costs for individual operations;
- Plan benefits;
- Available plans;
- Payment methods.
For existing subscriptions, price changes will be handled in accordance with applicable law and applicable payment-provider requirements.
Where advance notice is legally required, we will provide that notice.
22. App Store and Google Play Subscriptions
If you purchase a ZinCut subscription through Apple App Store or Google Play, the purchase may be subject to the applicable platform's:
- Payment rules;
- Renewal rules;
- Cancellation procedures;
- Refund procedures;
- Account requirements;
- Terms and policies.
For subscriptions purchased through an app store, you may need to manage cancellation or refund requests directly through the applicable platform.
These Subscription Terms continue to govern the ZinCut service to the extent they are not overridden by mandatory platform rules or applicable law.
23. No Transfer of Credits
Credits belong to the ZinCut account that purchased or received them.
You may not:
- Sell credits;
- Transfer credits;
- Give credits to another user;
- Exchange credits for cash;
- Combine credits between unrelated accounts.
24. Credit Expiration
Subscription credits expire at the end of the applicable subscription cycle.
Top-up credits expire 12 months after purchase.
Expired credits cannot generally be restored or exchanged for cash.
25. Relationship to the Terms of Use
These Subscription Terms supplement ZinCut's Terms of Use.
The Terms of Use continue to govern matters including:
- Acceptable use;
- User content;
- Intellectual property;
- AI-generated content;
- Account conduct;
- Suspension;
- Liability;
- Indemnification;
- Governing law.
These Subscription Terms govern the specific commercial and billing matters described here.
26. Governing Law
These Subscription Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia, subject to mandatory consumer protections and other rights that cannot legally be excluded.
Subject to those mandatory rights, disputes relating to these Subscription Terms will be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts in Jakarta, Indonesia.
