ZinCut ("ZinCut," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy and is committed to handling personal data responsibly.
This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, how we store and protect it, when we share it with service providers, and the choices and rights available to you when you use ZinCut.
ZinCut is an online creative platform that provides image and video editing, enhancement, restoration, generation, transformation, and related creative tools.
By using ZinCut, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
1. Who We Are
ZinCut is currently operated under the name "ZinCut" from Indonesia.

2. Information We Collect
Depending on how you use ZinCut, we may collect the following categories of information.
Account Information
When you create an account, we may collect:
- Email address
- Name or profile information provided through your login provider
- Authentication information necessary to maintain your account
- Account creation and subscription information
You may create an account using email, Google, or Apple authentication.
We do not receive or store your Google or Apple password.
2.2 User-Uploaded Content
You may upload images, videos, or other content to use ZinCut's features.
Depending on the feature you use, uploaded content may include:
- Photographs
- Videos
- Images containing people
- Product images
- Creative materials
- Other files supported by ZinCut
We process this content only as necessary to provide the requested ZinCut functionality.
You retain ownership of content you upload. ZinCut does not claim ownership of your uploaded content.
2.3 Generated and Edited Content
ZinCut may create or modify images and videos based on your instructions and uploaded materials.
Generated and edited content may be stored in your Projects area so that you can view, edit, download, or otherwise manage it.
ZinCut does not claim ownership of your generated outputs.
However, the legal status of AI-generated or AI-assisted content may vary depending on applicable law and the particular content. You are responsible for determining whether your use of an output is legally permitted.
2.4 Payment Information
When you purchase a subscription or credit top-up, payment information is processed by the applicable payment provider.
For web purchases, ZinCut currently uses:
- Midtrans for customers billed in Indonesia
- PayPal for customers billed outside Indonesia
ZinCut does not intend to store complete payment-card information on its own systems when that information is processed directly by the applicable payment provider.
Payment providers may collect and process payment information according to their own privacy policies and terms.
Purchases made through Apple App Store or Google Play may be processed by Apple or Google according to their respective terms and privacy policies.
2.5 Usage and Technical Information
We may automatically collect information about how you interact with ZinCut, including:
- IP address
- Browser type
- Device type
- Operating system
- Approximate location derived from technical information
- Pages and features accessed
- Usage events
- Account and subscription events
- Error and diagnostic information
- Date and time of activity
We use this information to operate, secure, maintain, analyze, and improve ZinCut.

ZinCut currently uses analytics services including Google Analytics and Vercel Analytics.
These services may collect information about how visitors and users interact with ZinCut.

We do not use your uploaded content or generated content for advertising or marketing without your separate permission.
4. AI Processing and Third-Party Service Providers
ZinCut uses third-party technology providers to perform certain image, video, and AI-related processing.
For example, ZinCut currently uses third-party AI infrastructure, including fal.ai, for certain processing operations.
Depending on the feature, uploaded files or related processing data may be transmitted to the applicable provider so that the requested operation can be performed.
The providers we use may change over time.
We do not control the independent privacy practices of third-party providers. Their handling of information may be governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
Where appropriate, ZinCut will take reasonable steps to select service providers that provide appropriate security and data-handling protections.
5. We Do Not Train Our Own AI Models Using Your Content
ZinCut does not use your uploaded images, videos, or generated content to train ZinCut's own AI models.
We also do not sell your uploaded content or generated content for advertising or marketing purposes.
This does not prevent third-party service providers from processing information according to their own applicable terms and policies.
6. Storage and Retention
ZinCut stores uploaded and generated content so that you can access your Projects and use the applicable features.
Our current retention periods are:

The retention period generally applies to uploaded and generated content stored in your ZinCut Projects.
After the applicable retention period expires, content may be automatically deleted.
You may also delete eligible content yourself through your Projects interface.
Deleted or expired content may remain temporarily in backups or technical systems where necessary for security, disaster recovery, or legal compliance, but such information will not be retained longer than reasonably necessary for those purposes.
7. Where Your Data Is Stored
ZinCut uses third-party infrastructure providers to host and store information.
User files are currently stored using Cloudflare R2 infrastructure.
Your information may therefore be processed or stored in countries other than the country in which you live.
Where applicable, ZinCut will take reasonable measures to comply with applicable requirements relating to international transfers of personal data.
8. Data Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, loss, or destruction.
However, no internet service or electronic storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for notifying us if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization.
9. Sharing Information
We may share information with:
- Hosting and infrastructure providers
- AI and processing providers
- Payment providers
- Authentication providers
- Analytics providers
- Security and fraud-prevention providers
- Professional advisers where reasonably necessary
- Government authorities or law-enforcement bodies when legally required

We do not sell your uploaded content or generated content to advertisers.
We do not authorize third parties to use your content for ZinCut marketing.

We may access, preserve, or disclose information when we reasonably believe doing so is necessary to:

- Protect the rights, property, or safety of ZinCut, users, or others

If you are located in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or another jurisdiction that provides additional privacy rights, you may have rights available under the applicable privacy laws.
Where those laws apply to ZinCut, we will process personal data in accordance with the applicable requirements.
Nothing in this Privacy Policy is intended to remove or restrict a right that cannot lawfully be excluded.
14. Children's Privacy
ZinCut is intended for users who are at least 16 years old.
We do not knowingly provide accounts to children under 16.
However, ZinCut may process images uploaded by an eligible user that happen to contain children.
The presence of a child in an uploaded image does not by itself mean that the child is a ZinCut user.
Users must not use ZinCut to create, process, distribute, or facilitate child sexual abuse material or other content involving the sexual exploitation or abuse of children.
15. Account Deletion
You may request deletion of your account by contacting:
Account deletion may result in the loss of access to your Projects, credits, subscription benefits, and other account-related information, subject to applicable law and legitimate retention requirements.
16. Third-Party Services
ZinCut may contain links to or integrate with third-party services.
Third-party services operate independently from ZinCut and may have their own privacy policies and terms.
We recommend reviewing the applicable third-party policies before using those services.
17. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.
If we make material changes, we may provide reasonable notice through ZinCut or other appropriate means.
The updated Privacy Policy will become effective on the date stated at the beginning of the updated policy.
